Fire Chief Darryl Kohse joins QB mayor Teunis Westbroek in presenting an award to Brian Hill.
QUALICUM BEACH — Local firefighters crowded into council chambers Monday night to honour one of their own.
Brian Hill received the Governor General’s Award of Canada in recognition of his 20 years of service as a firefighter in the community.
Hill began his career in 1989 and since then, said fire Chief Darryl Kohse, he has served with distinction.
