When the real estate market is hot — like it is right now — Michele Wuerch says she’s challenged to keep on top of her work as a realtor with Royal LePage in Parksville.
“I love the challenge,” she says, “as it pushes me to work harder and smarter.”
Michele has been selling real estate — specializing in residential and land sales — for three years and says she enjoys thoroughly the challenges and adventures. Michele grew up in Nanaimo and has been living in Parksville for 20 years. It’s this local knowledge, she says, that equips her to work well in the area.
Add to her skill background a former career as a registered nurse.
“It equipped me with excellent listening skills and communication,” Michele says. “Clarity is ultimately valuable in this field of work.”
Michele says she felt her social skills and love for the real estate market are the perfect match. And with her husband a local owner and builder for Madrona Homes Inc., there was a natural compliment to her real estate career.
“It allows both of us to work together in certain capacities,” she says.
While working, Michele says she loves meeting new people and listening to their needs, and then assisting them in finding their desired purchase or sale of their home.
“I’ve found my coworkers at Royal LePage to be a great encouragement and support,” she says. “I’ve also adapted some excellent tools to enable me to work most efficiently.”
Michele says she provides her clients with an honest, full service real estate relationship.
“I try to make it fun and easy.”
Michele lives in the River’s Edge subdivision and loves the area — so much that she specializes in sales there. Of course, her range is broad and can help clients find or sell homes from Nanaimo through to Qualicum Beach and points beyond.
In her spare time, Michele enjoys coaching the Grade 7 girls volleyball team at Springwood Middle School.
“I find great joy being around the kids and helping them to improve their skills and sportsmanship.”
Her biggest selling point to her clients, Michele explains, is the fact she is unique.
“I’m uniquely me. I’m tall, blonde, confident and good at what I do.”
Confirming that is the fact Michele won the Masters Sales award in her first year of work.
