VIU’s golf team is trying for the Mariners’ first championship of the season this week.
The squad is in Windsor, Ont. playing in the Canadian Colleges’ Athletic Association championships hosted by St. Clair College.
The tournament got underway Wednesday and runs through Friday (Oct. 16).
