Sane logic introduced to climate discussion

To the Editor,

It’s good to see some sane logic introduced into the climate change discussion.
I agree that we should be “developing and sustaining clean energy sources and real, tangible emission reductions”, but would add that they should also be economically feasible.
Until scare-mongering enviromentalists stop ignoring the “nature of things”, and produce the scientific proof that climate change is anthropogenic, we shouldn’t be rushing into a financial catastrophe, especially in view of recession weary balooning deficits.
David Suzuki will probably continue to preach on the necessity of our government to sign a climate change agreement in Copenhagen in December, regardless of the cost.
I continue to read that the proposed agenda for Copenhagen is more a massive wealth-transfer program dressed in environmental clothing than it is a savior of the ecosystem.
Because it’s being managed by the United Nations, it’s easy to envision the money they want to collect disappearing down untraceable paths, similar to where billions in foreign aid payments have gone.
“Going ‘green’ is no simple task”, and some people are becoming quite wealthy in what has become a huge ‘green’ industry.
We need a lot more open dialogue on climate change, and lets stop shouting “denier” at anyone who disagrees with Suzuki or Al Gore.
