Twilight filming south of Nanaimo

Film work was apparently underway on the latest installment of the hit Twilight saga in a remote, forested area south of Nanaimo Friday.
Security was tight around the closed movie set, located several kilometres up Nanaimo River Road from the highway.
Around a dozen vehicles were parked along the road during production work on Eclipse, the third in a series of movies based on author Stephenie Meyer’s teen vampire novels.
A crew member confirmed filming was taking place for a project known as TSE – an acronym for Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Other than that, anyone approached for comment remained tight-lipped.
There was no indication that any of the film’s stars were on the set and workers discouraged the possibility any were there.
Also absent were any of the films’ fans – dubbed “Twi-Hards” – who are known to stalk the production as it visits locations around southwestern B.C.
