Clinton Fearon started his reggae career as bassist, vocalist and lyricist for The Gladiators before relocating from Jamaica to Seattle where he performed with the Boogie Brown Band. He then did what no other reggae artist does – he unplugged his guitar and headed into the studio alone. Fearon performs with guitarist Mark Oi at the Queen’s Saturday (Nov. 7), 8 p.m., in an early show of music from his acoustic album. Tickets $15; $12/students through the Port Theatre box office at 250-754-8550.
