Forests Minister Pat Bell will be speaking at the next meeting of the Cowichan Lake District Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday night in Centennial Hall.

The general dinner meeting begins at 6 p.m. with a meet and greet session, followed by a buffet dinner.

“We have been working with government to have a minister attend and discuss the introduction of the HST and the dissolving of Tourism BC,” noted Katherine Worsley, visitor centre coordinator for the chamber.

She said Bell will address the two issues and answer questions.
