Three busted with crack cocaine, charges pending

Police seized a bag of crack cocaine, $1,000 in cash and a cell phone early last Thursday during a check of a vehicle parked behind Centennial Field in Lake Cowichan.
When Lake Cowichan RCMP checked the vehicle, they came across two local adult males and a local youth, then found the illegal contraband.
All three were arrested without incident and charges are being recommended against the two adults and the youth, including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
No names have been released, since charges have not been officially filed.
They are set to appear in provincial court in Duncan sometime in November.
