Jeremy Horgan’s love of baseball has taken him to an ideal development opportunity in Arizona.

Horgan, who turned 14 on July 26, started with the Duncan Junior Baseball Association when he was five.

Since the age of 10, he has attended baseball camps every March and during Christmas holidays in Arizona.

Horgan won the best pitcher award out of 65 players from across North America during the Christmas camp in 2007.

During the March 2008 camp, he met “Coach Tim’’ (Haubursin) who invited Horgan to attend the Notre Dame Preparatory School in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Horgan also got asked to play for the U.S.A. Selects Under 13s last October.

He began Grade 9 at the school Aug. 10 and is already known there as “Canada.’’
