Victoria Aqua Ski Club members from Shawnigan Lake — including three members of the Leech family — enjoyed great success at the provincial and western waterskiing competitions in Abbotsford.
Haley Leech, 16, Jed Leech, 13, (pictured), Ben Leech, 11, and Dayne Entzminger, 16, all brought home medals in their respective age divisions.
Ben Leech had a pair of firsts in his jumping and tricks, with a second in slalom; Jed Leech won his jumping event, placed second in slalom and third in tricks; and Haley Leech managed thirds in jumps and tricks.
Entzminger came through with a first in tricks, second in jumping and third in slalom.
Haley Leech, Jed Leech and Entzminger are all part of the B.C. waterski development team.
