Hometown boy leads B.C. Amateur

A new leader sits atop the leaderboard after today’s third round concluded at the 108th playing of the B.C. Amateur Championship at Duncan Meadows Golf and Country Club.

Brady Johnson of Mill Bay, fired a five under, par 67 to finish in first on Thursday with a cumulative score of nine under, 207 after three days.

Johnson birdied holes two, three, four, five, 13 and 14.

Yesterday’s leader, Scott Kral of Victoria, moved into a share of second place at seven under, 209, tied with Eugene Wong of the North Shore.
