Day two at B.C. Amateur features course record

Day two at the B.C. Amateur Championship at Duncan Meadows Golf and Country Club saw Brady Johnson of Victoria fire a seven under, par 65, tying the course record.

Johnson teed off with half the field this morning is atop a crowded leaderboard. Eleven players are tied within two shots of the lead and 15 more are within three.

2008 B.C. Amateur runner-up Parker Lilly of Victoria bettered his score with a three-under par 69 for two-over 146.

Scott Kral of Victoria started the afternoon in first.
