Cowichan Spirit Pole arrives July 28

One of the highlights of Tribal Journeys 2008 will be the welcoming of the Cowichan Spirit Pole. This totem has travelled across B.C. and has been shaped by more than 10,000 carvers.

The final touches will be added by carver Carey Newman and Cowichan Tribes Chief Lydia Hwitsum during the start of the Tribal Journeys ceremony on July 28 in Cowichan Bay.
