A Cowichan folk act is poised to be honoured on a national stage.
Cobble Hill’s The Haints Old Time Stringband, is nominated for a pair of Canadian Folk Music Awards honours — Traditional album and Ensemble of the Year.
Band members Erynn Marshall, Jason Romero and Pharis Romero will find out Nov. 21 if they’re winners during a ceremony in Gatineau Quebec.
