Chemainus has got the blues

The Cowichan Blues Cabaret happens Thursday hosted by guitarist Gene Grooms in Chemainus’ Mount Brenton Golf Course clubhouse.

Backing Grooms at the 8 p.m. blues bash will be the Soul Brothers Trio featuring drummer Charlie (Super Smooth) Wade, bassist J.J. Charlebois and keyboardist Thomas Kinzel.

Tickets are $8, $5 musicians at the clubhouse just off Henry Road.
