Olympic torch route: Lake Cowichan
The Olympic Torch will run west on Cowichan Lake Road from MacDonald Road, along South Shore Road to Point Ideal Drive during its Lake Cowichan leg.

In Lake Cowichan, celebrations start at 11 a.m. in Central Park and goes until the torch arrives.
Live entertainment, a concession and Olympic souvenirs will be on hand for the event.
When the torch arrives at the Lake — the closest estimate is around 1:30 p.m. — Chief Cyril Livingstone of the Lake Cowichan First Nation will bless the route at McDonald Road.
