Redesigning its website paid off with and award for the Cowichan Valley Regional District.
The CVRD won an Award of Distinction in the Interactive Website, Government category, from the 2009 Communicator Awards.
"We are always looking for ways to improve our communication with the community and businesses and are thrilled to achieve this Award of Distinction.
We hope the citizens of the Valley find our new website more helpful," said CVRD Board Chair Gerry Giles.
The CVRD began the process of redesigning their website into a more interactive and user-friendly website back in November, 2007.
