Jespersen carries Green banner in Nanaimo-Alberni

The Nanaimo-Alberni Federal Association of the Green Party of Canada (GPC) has nominated Myron Jespersen as their candidate for the next federal election.

Jespersen has many years of experience working in international humanitarian aid and community development in South and Central Asia and East Africa.

Currently he is a consultant to the Alberni Valley Stakeholders Initiative to End Homelessness, a founding director of the Alberni Valley Social Planning council, a director of the Alberni Environmental Coalition and serves on the board of the Port Alberni homeless shelter.

Jespersen has been an active member of the Green Party for the past three years; this is his first election attempt.

He has served as CEO for the Nanaimo-Alberni electoral district association and managed the campaign in the last federal election.

Jespersen and his wife Janice reside in Port Alberni.
