Port Moody is calling on artists to apply for a public art project involving the city's new garbage trucks.

The city needs artists to create digital designs for vehicle wraps for the tanks.

"With the implementation of its automated garbage collection system, Port Moody is presented with a great opportunity to bring public art to every street and community in the city," Kristin Tracey, PoMo's public art coordinator, said in a news release.

To apply by July 14, visit www.cityofportmoody.com. For more information, call Tracey at kristin@cityofthearts.ca.
