Craftspeople looking for a place to display and sell their wares for Christmas are asked to contact Coquitlam's Place des Arts.
The Maillardville centre needs new artists for its Christmas Boutique 2009, which runs Nov. 12 to Dec. 18. Art pieces required include fine-art quality felted items like tea cozies; wooden or glass sculptures; handmade stationery; journals or photo albums; and silversmithing.
Handmade cards, photos, prints or assembled (as in beaded) jewelry are not wanted. Place des Arts will retain 25% of the retail price.
To apply, submit five work samples by Oct. 19 and a form, which can be downloaded at www.placedesarts.ca.
