Do you know of someone who has made a difference for the environment in Port Moody?

Port Moody’s environmental awards honour individuals, businesses or organizations that have made a difference in the community. It recognizes environmental initiatives and encourages environmental accomplishments and awareness in the community. The project or initiative must take place in Port Moody and must meet one or more of the following criteria: ecological initiative, habitat enhancement, naturescape program, educational feature, volunteer component, pesticide-free lawn or garden, sustainability initiative and integrated storm-water management.

The deadline for nominations is Oct. 31.

All winners will be invited to the annual civic appreciation dinner for the awards presentation. Award recipients will also be recognized with a permanent plaque at city hall.
