ShareGive thanks & give blood

Canadian Blood Services (CBS) is hosting a blood donor clinic on Thanksgiving Monday, Oct. 13, from 1:30 to 8 p.m. at Grace Christian Fellowship, 2606 Kingsway Ave.
According to a CBS release, throughout October, hospital patients across Canada will require blood donations from more than 93,000 donors. In this region, that means CBS needs more than 12,000 donors to attend clinics this month.
If you can’t make Monday’s clinic in PoCo, CBS asks people consider donating at the Oak Street blood donor clinic, 4750 Oak St. in Vancouver. Clinic hours are available at www.blood.ca. To book an appointment to give blood, call 1-888-236-6283.
