Burnaby teen dies in crash

A 16-year-old Burnaby girl has died and three others were injured after a single-vehicle collision Thursday night near Port Moody's White Pine Beach.

The teens had just left the beach and were driving along Bedwell Bay Road when the 19-year-old driver tried to pass another vehicle at a high rate of speed on a blind corner.
