Regarding the new law on banning cellphone use in cars while driving:
Good law except there are two major problems. One is the fact that one out of every three motorists on the road are on the phone – so just how are the police going to stop it?
The other major problem I have noticed this week is the fact that I observed almost every police officer in Maple Ridge driving while on their cellphones! Are the police exempt from yet another law imposed upon the people?
If they want to ticket drivers for phone use then maybe they should put their phones down while driving.
It should be one law for everyone – and that includes the RCMP.
Sorry officer, but get off the phone because the law applies to you too.
