Man arrested after small grow op found

Ridge Meadows RCMP discovered a small marijuana grow operation at a home last week, resulting in one arrest.
Around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, officers attended to a residence in the 22000 block of 128 Avenue in Maple Ridge.
The response was for an unrelated matter, but police located a small grow-op in the rear of the property.
A 45-year-old man was arrested, and a small amount of marijuana was found on him.
Residential break-in
Police are investigating a break-in to a home that occurred last week.
Sometime between 9:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Thursday, a window to the home, which is located in the 22400 block of Streng Avenue in Maple Ridge, was forced open. Jewelry and digital cameras were stolen.
Businesses damaged
Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to two reports of damage to businesses over the weekend.
The first incident occurred sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning.
A door for the rear of Bill's Skate Shop, located in the 22400 block of the Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge, was removed.
The second incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Monday, when a window at the rear of the Frogstone Grill, which is located in the 22900 block of the Lougheed Highway, was broken.
It doesn't appear that anyone entered either business, as nothing was found to be missing or disturbed.
