Barn fire damages two Maple Ridge greenhouses
Firefighters battle a structure fire on the west side of 224th Street, just north of 132nd Avenue, Saturday afternoon.

A barn fire on a Maple Ridge farm damaged two greenhouses Saturday afternoon.
The barn was being used as a processing plant for vegetable crops and was filled with pesticides and fertilizers.
The cause of the blaze on the property near 132nd Ave. and 224th St. is still unknown. However, the fire department has determined it was accidental.
