Big Brothers Big Sisters of Abbotsford-Mission-Ridge- Meadows has been awarded the National Leadership Excellence Award by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada.
Presented at the organization’s recent national convention, the National Leadership Excellence Award recognizes agencies that have, with the collaboration of board members, staff and volunteers, demonstrated exemplary leadership related to program innovation, board leadership, agency-to-agency support, marketing achievement, innovative partnerships and/or staff team development.
“We are delighted that our agency was chosen for its leadership in the area of media partnerships, program innovation and community building,” said David Sheach, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Abbotsford-Mission-Ridge-Meadows.
“The National Excellence in Leadership Award truly is validating to our volunteers, staff and partners who are committed to changing the life of a child in our community.”
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada National Awards Program celebrates the achievements of member agencies, their staff, volunteers and partners.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Abbotsford-Mission-Ridge-Meadows provides over 340 children a variety of mentoring programs that have shown a positive change in the lives of the children, their families and the volunteers.
