The 17th Annual Westminster Savings Maple Ridge Community Involvement Team (CIT) Craft Fair will feature local crafters selling a variety of handmade items. All proceeds from this event will go to the Christmas Hamper Society, Cythera House and other local charities.
Since 1992, Westminster Savings Credit Union’s Maple Ridge employees has raised funds to support non-profit organizations in the Ridge Meadows community.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to know that we are raising money for those in need, especially during a challenging year,” says Lynda Catton, volunteer. “The best part is that the money will go to charities located directly in our area”.
The spirited involvement of employees in such fundraising activities is a large part of Westminster Savings’ commitment to good corporate citizenship.
• The craft fair runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ridge Meadows Senior Centre, located at 12150 – 224th Street in Maple Ridge.
Admission is free, however donations of non-perishable food items will gladly be accepted and donated to the Friends in Need Food Bank.
