Assault trial starts for former Ridge RCMP officer

A trial for a RCMP officer accused of punching a man almost four years ago in Maple Ridge heard the victim lost two teeth during the arrest.

Const. Ed Fox is accused of using excessive force while taking Matthew Norman Gregg into custody on Sept. 13, 2006 outside the Villa Torni Apartments on 222nd Street.
