Midget Division

Cloverdale Bengals 35

Langley Stampeders 22

Highlights: The Cloverdale offence was paced by Josh Dunks with three long runs for touchdowns, and Chris Alliston with touchdown passes to Victor Trot and Robbie Gallaugher.

Troy Lindsay converted all five major scores.

The defense was led by Dunks, Devin Drewniak, and Gallaugher with interceptions, and Dan Stroud and Jordon Taylor with a sack each. Max Grouette recovered a fumble, and Brian Deol, Troy Lindsay, Tyler Goddard, Raj Sahota, and Clayton Andrews each made several tackles.

North Delta Longhorns 51

North Shore Wolverines 0

Highlights: Brandon Leyh threw touchdown passes of 26 yards to B.B. Uppal, 40 yards and 60 yards to Jacob Rogers, and ran two yards a fourth major.

Other touchdowns came from Sean O’Neill on a 70-yard run, Cody Hawkins on a 20-yard interception returns, and Ford Marcotte on a five-yard carry.

Troy Klassen was perfect, kicking all seven converts.

Aaron Purdy also scored, his tackled resulting in a safety. Cody Kutny was outstanding with two interceptions, Dylan Siegle knocked down a pass, and Andre Stroud was pressuring the Wolverines quarterback throughout the game.

Additional outstanding contributions came from Mike Donaldson, Tanar Rushworth, Matthew Baker and Jacob Devitt.

Bantam Division

Cloverdale Leopards 26

North Shore Wolverines 0

Highlights: Sameer Nasiri, Jared Nermo and Riley Johnson scored for Cloverdale, while the defense led by Sukhbir Toor, Fernando Lizarraga, Jaspreet Singh, Jusjeet Dadwal and Nermo shut out the Wolverines.

Jr. Bantam Division

North Surrey Falcons 38

North Surrey Eagles 0

Highlights: Falcons quarterback Mike Lemond threw for three touchdowns and ran for another. Colby Peters had a pair of receptions for major scores, with Isaah Brown and catching a touchdown pass. Calvin Leung ran for the fifth touchdown, with Manraj Kalsi kicking four of five converts for another eight points.

Leading the defence with seven tackles each were Jalen Cruz and Brandon Gatey.

Cloverdale Jaguars 44

Royal City Hyacks 6

Highlights: Dayton Lewis led the Jaguars with three touchdowns, one coming on a 55-yard interception return. Caleb Abraham, Christian MacMillan, and Justin DesLaurier also had major scores, with Alex Bachmeier kicking four two-point converts. Harry Nguyen with seven tackles and James Davies with six led the defence. Other standouts were Aaron Halvorson, Kody Creese, Kyle Johnson, Manveer Duhra, Harcharn Dhaliwal, Justin Anderson, and Anoop Nahal with a 40-yard catch.

Cloverdale Cougars 52

Richmond Raiders 14

Highlights: The Cougars easily won a battle of unbeaten teams, getting outstanding efforts from defensive players Mike Carter, Ahad Fayaz, Gage Morton, Reece Russell, Jomari Gaza and Antonio Mendoza. Bryce Telford recovered a fumble.

With Liam Kelly at quarterback and Russell, Gaza, Tarman Toor and Zac Blouin blocking on the offensive line, Antonio Mendoza rushed for 397 yards and seven touchdowns. Mendoza also kicked five converts.

Pee Wee Division

North Delta Longhorns 24

Langley Cowboys 6

Highlights: North Delta highlights included the play of linebackers Alan Clarke and Jack Kraft, defensive back Austin Blum with his second interception of the season, the play of Brett Mihelic on the offensive line, a touchdown reception from Jacob Konishi, the performance of quarterback Taylor Pencer, and the strong effort of Alex Butschler.

Atom Division

North Surrey Lions 12

Cloverdale Lions 6

Highlights: J.T. Balfour scored the lone Cloverdale touchdown.

Cloverdale Tigers 26

Westside Warriors 14

Highlights: Derek Best with three touchdowns and Gavin Dhaliwal with his first of the season paced the Tigers. Good pass protection was provided by offensive linemen Cole Irwin, Arjun Johal, Aiden Heemskerk, Gavin Dhaliwal and Cameron Kumar, while quarterback Walter Dingwal rushed the ball well.

North Delta Longhorns 34

Langley Colts 32

Highlights: The Longhorns rallied from a 24 - 14 halftime deficit to edge Langley. The offensive line of Max Sache, Fraser Pergo, Mark Fontana, and Cameron Taylor opened up holes for Diallo Ighorewo to run for two touchdowns, and Jalen and Tyson Philpot and Marcus Garcia to score one each.

Defensive highlights included a blocked convert by Jahnek Rai, hard tackles by Carson Williams,  

Deedar Jhooty, and Reilly Noble and a pair of fumble recoveries.
