Linda Jennings and Debbie Uter of Surrey were on a women’s team that placed first at the British Columbia Tenpin Federation’s provincial tournament at the Xcalibur Bowling Centre.
Other Surrey bowlers who fared will included Ray Galang (member of the first place men’s team), Dan Nicholls (fourth in the all events scratch division, fourth in mixed doubles with Gail Nicholls), and Maureen Cockburn (second in mixed doubles).
Several members of the host Xcalibur Bowling Centre facility in Surrey also placed among the top five. They were Cathy Innes (member of the first place women’s team), Dave Riley (first in men’s all event scratch division), Brandon Riley (second in all event scratch), Andrew Deleon and Dave, Brandon and Jordy Riley (third in men’s team).
