Taking freedom away

Re: The HandyDart strike.
I think the union workers involved in this strike are being completely selfish. Who is anyone to say what is “essential services” for those who are physically disabled? Many of these people have no other means of transportation to do things like grocery shop or go to see their friends and families. They are taking away quality of life for those that need it most.
For a lot of wheelchair-bound people their only other option is van cabs. On a fixed income this option is really only a last resort as it gets really expensive.
So if you guys are reading this I want you to think, are your demands really more important than your customers being able to have some freedom in their lives?
