Surrey firefighters had an active evening Halloween night responding to several fires in vehicles, dumpsters, brush fires as well as a house fire at 79 Avenue and 135A Street.
Around 11 p.m. Saturday crews arrived to find the vacant house fully involved and fought the fire defensively and protected the house next door. There were no injuries.
Cause of the blaze is unknown, but suspicious in nature.
