A couple has been running a con game along the 6000 block area of Scott Road.
Delta Police have issued a warning about the man and woman, who have approached residences and businesses claiming they have locked themselves out of their house and need money to get to their place of business -- or, alternatively, that their vehicle has been towed and the man’s wallet is in the vehicle and he needs money to get it back.
The man claims to be a doctor.
In one recent case, he was able to obtain $100.00 on the promise he would return and pay the money back.
He didn't.
The DPD suggests if someone approaches you with that kind of story, tell them you will call police for them to get them the assistance they require.
