Delta Police are investigating a robbery at a jewelry store in North Delta.
On July 17 at about 6:25 p.m., police responded to an incomplete 911 call at a business in the 9200 block of 120 Street.
Two men had come into the store under the guise of being customers, but shortly after entering, one male took the two staff members to the back room and held them there while the second suspect stole an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
Neither of the staff was physically injured, however the suspects did indicate they had a gun – though none was produced or seen.
The two suspects then fled the store and got into an awaiting vehicle (a light-coloured van, possibly a Dodge Caravan), and fled southbound on 120 Street.
One suspect is described as a non-white male in his 20s, 5’8” to 5’9” with a slim build, curly dark shaggy hair and earrings. He had a small cut on the front of his neck that was bleeding slightly, and he was wearing a black T-shirt – possibly with a motif on the front.
The second suspect is a Caucasian male in his 20s, 5’10” with a slim build and short dark-blond hair that was slightly spiky on top. He was wearing a white T-shirt or a button-up shirt and jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call Delta Police at 604-946-4411 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
