Performers entertain at a Diwali celebration presented by the Surrey Foundation at Bollywood Banquet Hall on Saturday.
Diwali – often called the Festival of Lights – marks the beginning of the South Asian new year and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.
Funds raised at the event will support the Surrey Foundation, the South Fraser Women’s Services Society Youth Leadership Conference, and programs that aim to prevent violence against women.
