Tom Awrey, Canadian Diabetes Association regional director, Fraser Valley, Fouad F. Shirwa, settlement counselor for the Surrey School District, Harry Bains, MLA Surrey-Newton and Keith Alton, freight forwarder for A & A Contract Customs Brokers and a director at the Surrey Board of Trade took part in the Great Canadian Wax Off event at the Diabetes association’s regional office in Surrey.

The quartet of men waxed their legs, helping The Diabetes Summer Surge event raise $1 million nationwide.
