LOCAL FLAVOUR: Wings - on the fly

Retiree Anne Kehler has transferred her cooking know-how to DVD.

Orange glazed chicken wings

Ingredients

3 lbs. chicken wings

2 beaten eggs

20 crushed Breton crackers

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup orange juice

1/3 cup seafood sauce

1 tsp. salt

Method

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.

Dip small chicken wings or drumsticks into beaten eggs, then into the crumbs.

Place in a single layer on a large foil lined baking sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Combine remaining ingredients, mixing until sugar dissolves.

Pour evenly over chicken.

Bake an additional 25-30 minutes.

Turn chicken while baking to coat with sauce.

Makes about 30 appetizers.

You can use larger drumsticks for everyday meals.
