Multiple Blues Music Award winner David Gogo will appear in a rare local performance at The Rhumba Room in the Aston Pacific Inn, 1160 King George Hwy., Oct. 3 with The Jason Buie Band.
Gogo has three Juno nominations, was named Musician of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards, was twice named Guitarist of the Year at the Maple Blues Awards and has been bestowed with the CBC Saturday Night Blues, Great Canadian Blues Award.
He has composed music for TV and major motion pictures, and his music has been performed and recorded by musicians worldwide.
Gogo just released his 10th album, Different Views, which he will be singing from at the Oct. 3 event.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the concert is at 8 p.m.
Tickets ($20 in advance, $25 at the door) are available at Tapestry Music, 1335 Johnston Rd., North Bluff Music, 103 1645 140 St., and Aston Pacific Inn.
Gogo will also do a rock and blues guitar workshop at North Bluff Music Oct. 3 at 1 p.m.
