Get “All Shook Up” as Steve Elliott recreates the raw and energetic charisma of Elvis Presley at Surrey Hospice Society’s fall fundraiser, An Affair to Remember on Saturday, Oct. 18.
Elliott – aka Elvis Elite – presents a heart-throbbing three-set tribute to the King of Rock n’ Roll encompassing the ’50s Rockabilly to the ’60s movie years and onto the swooning and crooning that was ’70s Las Vegas.
This sizzling evening includes the show, a three-course plated dinner (with choice of three entrées), dancing, auction and more, presided over by Surrey-Man-About-Town, Bill Reid.
“This will be an unforgettable evening of food, fun and entertainment, while supporting the vital work of hospice, said Marion Brandner, executive director of Surrey Hospice. “Palliative and grief support are essential to families facing what can be the most critical time of their lives. This event is so important to the ongoing work and growth of Surrey Hospice.”
An Affair to Remember takes place Oct. 18 at The Pearl Banquet and Conference Centre, #201-13030 76 Ave. Tickets $80 available by calling Surrey Hospice Resource Centre 604-543-7006. For more information see www.surreyhospice
