Behind the scenes of the King's commercials

Competing with companies that engage in multi-million dollar advertising campaigns, the King of Floors takes a much different approach.
The local company provided a behind-the-scenes looks at the making of its admittedly tacky TV commercials this week, complete with Sir Scruffy, the lhasa apso dog routinely featured in the spots.
With a budget of under $1,000 to film three separate commercials, there is no room for hair and make-up, catering, actors or even a director. A cameraman films the commercials, edits and mixes them. With no budget for hiring an advertising firm to write the script, the dialogue is ad-libbed and the acting is filmed off-the-cuff.
