A new league on the Peninsula just might be the ultimate in fun.

At the least, Surrey Ultimate League offers a fast-paced opportunity for a fresh-air workout with like-minded Frisbee enthusiasts.

“It is a great team sport... the Ultimate experience,” promises details on the league’s website, surreyultimate.ca

The co-ed league launched in the summer with weekly play at the South Surrey turf and Whalley’s Tom Binney field.

This fall, play continues with hat-league games from 1-4 p.m. Sundays through Nov. 22, at Semiahmoo Trail Elementary, 3040 145A St., and Tuesday nights from 6-8 p.m. at Sullivan Elementary (6016 152 St.) through Oct. 27.
