Re: Volunteer spirit keeps community traditions alive, July 24 editorial.

Just a quick note to say I agree with your editorial on events and volunteerism in White Rock.

We have amazingly dedicated residents who generously volunteer their time throughout the year for various community events.

Without this commitment to the community by the approximately 1,300 volunteers, it would be next to impossible to host the 43 events.

Best White Rock has seen

Hats off to Matt Todd for a well-organized Spirit of the Sea Festival.

All went like a well-oiled wheel, and the fireworks were the best White Rock has ever seen.
