Re: SPCA urges caution after attack, June 22.
I am Tasha’s owner, and I hope you would be so kind as to print this thank you, as I have no other way to let all these people know how much I appreciated their help.
On what was one of the worst days of my life, I can still appreciate the kindness of strangers.
To everyone who stopped in their cars, I fully understand why you would not want to get out into that melee. Thank you for staying around and calling the police and the SPCA. Hopefully all the information you gave will help.
To the kind couple who drove Tasha and me to my vet’s, and then stayed until they knew I had help coming, words cannot express my gratitude.
To your reporter, Tracy Holmes, thank you for the care you took in getting my story. It was a very difficult time, but you were able to get enough information to write a fair and unbiased story.
To the public, these particular dogs need to be caught. They are a danger to everyone, not just pet owners.
My family and I shall always miss our little Tasha. She was loved by many.
