A man wandering Peninsula streets last weekend gave residents and motorists more than an eyeful with his choice of clothing – because he wasn't wearing any.

Police received multiple complaints of a naked man Saturday, starting at just after 2 p.m. and continuing until nearly 4 p.m., said Const. Kenn Meglic.

He was "not carrying a stitch," Meglic said.

The man, 46, was first seen near 19A Avenue and 140 Street. He was wearing only runners, and fled after he was spotted.

Police responding to the area were unable to locate the suspect.

The next complaint came in just before 4 p.m., when a naked man was seen near 18 Avenue and 154 Street, walking east toward 156 Street.

Police responding located a naked man, matching the description, at Flower Road and 18 Avenue.

The man, well-known to police, was arrested under the Mental Health Act and taken to Peace Arch Hospital.
