A White Rock senior was taken to hospital Thursday after she was knocked over by a pickup as it was reversed out of a parking spot outside Semiahmoo Shopping Centre.
Impact of the 10:30 a.m. collision knocked the woman onto her back, Const. Kenn Meglic said Friday.
The woman also hit her head on the pavement.
Meglic said a witness saw the incident unfold, and shouted at the driver, a 49-year-old White Rock resident, to stop.
The victim was taken to Peace Arch Hospital as a precaution, said Meglic.
The truck driver will likely be cited, he added.
