Beach visitors looking to get an eyeful of White Rock’s proud namesake might feel they see an eyesore instead, as the rock is often used as a blank canvas for graffiti artists and those leaving messages for future visitors. Their penmanship, however is temporary, as the city routinely invests in whitewashing the landmark.
