Building on humanity
Home Depot will be donating more than $230,000 to Habitat for Humanity Canada with money collected during the second annual Buy a House, Build a Home Paper House fundraiser. During the campaign, customers could buy a paper house for $2 in Home Depot stores across Canada, in support of affordable housing projects. The projects are built for some of the more than 1.5 million Canadians who lack safe and affordable housing. This year, the amount raised through the campaign would be enough to purchase more than 34 million nails, 4,600 doors or 230 bedrooms.
