Surrey Writers’ School has partnered with Crescent Beach Community Services at Camp Alexandra to offer In Our Own Words, a program for youth.
Fifteen youth between the ages of 12 and 20 will to plan, create and launch a publication of their work. In the process, they will develop writing, publishing, and marketing skills under the guidance of professional writers, editors and publishers.
The project is also supported by the Surrey/White Rock Literacy Implementation Team, and funded by the province’s Legacies Now intiative. For more info, visit www.surreywritersschool.com
