Semiahmoo Peninsula native Scott Nicoll has been re-elected chair of Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s board of governors.
Nicoll, a partner with the firm Hamilton Duncan Armstrong and Stewart LLP, was first appointed to the board in 2006. He was re-elected Jan. 20.
Nicoll has been practising law in B.C. since 1994, focusing primarily on business litigation and risk management.
His new term on the KPU board ends July 31, 2012.
Elected as vice-chair was Gord Schoberg, who works as director of the environment, health and safety group at Terasen Gas.
